Ballenberg

The photo series "Ballenberg" captures the essence of Switzerland's rich cultural heritage through the lens of the Swiss Open-Air Museum Ballenberg. Situated in the Bernese Oberland, Ballenberg spans 66 hectares and houses over 100 original buildings relocated from various Swiss regions.

These structures, including farmhouses, barns, and artisan workshops, offer a window into traditional Swiss architecture and rural life. Beyond the architecture, the museum grounds are alive with over 200 native farm animals and vibrant gardens, providing dynamic backdrops for the series. Visitors can observe artisans engaged in traditional crafts such as wood-carving, cheese-making, and basket-weaving, adding depth and authenticity to the visual narrative.

Through this collection, I invite the viewers to explore and appreciate the diverse cultural tapestry of Switzerland, highlighting the importance of preserving and understanding our shared heritage.
