The spiral-shaped installation, combining images, sound, and clay leaves, symbolizes the destructive cycle of overreach, inviting visitors to witness the fading beauty of life and the consequences of our actions on the planet.

Spiral
The spiral in the installation serves as a metaphor for the rapid degradation of the natural world. Visitors begin in a vibrant, colorful environment, filled with the sounds and sights of life. As you journey deeper into the spiral, this world slowly transforms, fading into an empty, industrial landscape.
The spiral represents both the uncertainty and the complexity of this path, one that seems almost impossible to escape. The shift from natural to industrial sound amplifies this transition, guiding you through the changing environment.
Het spiraal staat symbool voor de snelle achteruitgang van de natuur. Bezoekers beginnen in een levendige, kleurrijke wereld die langzaam overgaat in een lege, industriële omgeving. De installatie laat zo de overgang en onomkeerbaarheid van deze verandering ervaren.
At the end of the spiral, you are invited to step back and reflect on what we risk losing. The opportunity to view the beauty we overlook, before it’s gone forever, is a chance to reconsider our actions.
Aan het einde van de spiraal word je uitgenodigd om stil te staan bij wat we dreigen te verliezen en de schoonheid die we vaak missen te zien voordat die verdwijnt.
