Anne Roos van Veen
As an artist, I explore the relationship between human and non human, making our connection to our surroundings visible.
My work focuses on the rights of nature and the possibilities for collaboration with the landscape.
Through observing, collecting, and creating, I aim not only to tell stories, but also to initiate them.
A landscape-based practice centred on material research, working with natural elements such as stone and bark, and site-specific work, rooted in a love for the forest.

Anne Roos van Veen
Als kunstenaar onderzoek ik de relatie tussen mens en niet-mens, waarbij ik onze verbinding met het landschap zichtbaar maak.
Mijn werk richt zich op de rechten van de natuur en de mogelijkheden voor samenwerking met het landschap.
Door te observeren, te verzamelen en te creëren wil ik niet alleen verhalen vertellen, maar ze ook initiëren.
Een landschap-gebaseerde praktijk die zich richt op materiaalonderzoek, waarbij ik werk met natuurlijke elementen zoals steen en schors, en site-specifiek werk, geworteld in een liefde voor het bos.
